Fourteen Reasons Why Dieting Is Usually Bad For Your Health
1. The lower number of calories eaten per day, the harder it is for you to get your daily requirements of proteins and vitamins.
2. Losing weight means digesting your own body tissues instead of food and unfortunately, dieting does not tell your body what parts it needs to digest or which parts to save.
3. Dieting makes your body believe it is starving so it starts to save fat, as this is its best way to store energy.
4. Dieting will make you difficult to live with and your family may want to kill you.
5. Severe dieting causes muscle loss and if you are unlucky the loss may be from your heart with severe consequences.
6. If you’re a smoker you may smoke even more to dull the hunger pangs.
7. Dieting changes your body chemistry and one effect may be bad breath.
8. Breaking a diet often results in guilt, poor self esteem and despair often followed by comfort eating.
9. Dieting makes you food obsessed.
10. Binge eating, generally with very unsuitable foods often follows dieting.
11. Dieting emphasizes food as a reward or compensation - so called ‘comfort eating’ where food is used to cheer us up or because it’s raining we are somehow entitled to eat lots of sweets or cakes.
12. Dieting lowers the base metabolic rate which means you can live on less food, so when you return to your normal food intake which was already too high, you put on weight even faster than before and will probably end up heavier than before the diet.
13. Dieting does nothing to teach you to eat healthily. Healthy eating does not mean going hungry.
14. Dieting often causes constipation and this concentrates toxins and carcinogens within the bowels and they are present for a longer period. Fruit and vegetables have a positively beneficial effect on the smooth running of your digestive system.

Snoring Agony
My husband isn’t a chronic snorer, just if he has a bit of a cold or has had a heavy night out! He’s reluctant to try anything so if anyone has any suggestions on how to persuade him, I’d be very grateful! I’m getting a bit fed up of our sofa (which is very small) and he’s getting fed up of me elbowing him in the ribs! We have only been married 7 months so I’m worried I’ve got a long road ahead of me…!
My boyfriend snores so loudly i sometimes think it’s louder than a cd player on full volume! He keeps me awake and the earplugs hurt. He’s going to try getting his tonsils out but he’s a heavy smoker and drinks nearly everyday. Trying to get him to stop smoking is a task in itself, never mind the snoring aswell!
Yes i do it too, correction, USED to do it, lie there at night on my back snoring away with my poor boyfriend sufficating himself under his pillow inorder to drowned out the sound of my snoring. Not only did he go and stay at his mums for 3 weeks but he was issued with a warning from work as he kept on nodding off at the desk, at first it was all quite amusing but after awhile it started to put a big strain on our relationship. I had two jobs and would be working from 9am till 10pm, when i got home i was absolutley shattered and this is when the ’snory’ began, get it ’story’, anyway for months - roughly eight, it had been going on, it was not until my boyfriend started to go and stay at his ‘mums’ yea, yea i know what you’re all thinking, that i said to myself, this really isn’t fair and seeked help. My friend had a couple of snoreeze oral strips hanging around her bedroom, so i just borrowed a pack, i needed to see if it would work so i persuaded my boyfriend to spend a night with me, the first night i didn’t follow instructions, so it kind of worked but the second night was remarkable, not a peep out of me, the third was great and so on..
Now i can’t get rid of him. Thanks Snoreeze! http://yourhealthblog.com/
